RISING STAR ROUND 19 NOMINATION: Darcy Gardiner (Brisbane Lions) This weeks NAB Rising Star is Brisbanes Darcy Gardiner. Gardiner was drafted as a key defender and has been able to lock down a role in the Lions defence. Gardiner had 18 disposals and 12 marks in the teams 23 point victory over Melbourne on the weekend. Gardiner was taken with pick 22 in last years draft. Gardiner joins team-mates Lewis Taylor and James Aish as being nominated from Brisbane this season, the most of any other club.
