RMS Topic: Weighing in on Wednesdays best? While I dont agree for many reasons with the part of this article about the method of slimming clubs to have a weigh-in every week in front of other members to give dieters encouragement, Im not at all opposed to regular private weigh ins as part of a health maintenance. Weigh ins arent the holy grail either of course, yet they no doubt are very helpful for many wellness seekers needing weight management if done with the right mindset (i.e. without scale worship). In fact, the core of this article is about the fallibility of the weight scale! And it discusses a way to mitigate that weakness by weighing in on Wednesdays, which Finnish researches found was the day of the week that had the least extraneous amount of weight fluctuation. Id add that our weight is also best taken after voiding bladders and, if possible, bowels as well first thing in the AM soon after awakening and before eating or drinking anything. Now, speaking of it, were off to breakfast and then find ourselves a lunch
