ROAD ALERT, Garden Oaks Drive: New water lines will installed along Garden Oaks Drive, from Story Road to Irby Lane starting Oct. 6. After the water line installation, the entire width of the road will be prepped and overlaid with new asphalt. Work will occur Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once Garden Oak Drive is completed, contractors will move to other streets, in the following order, to complete this project: • Daywood Lane, from Irving Heights to Brookhaven. • Harrison Court (cul-de-sac). • Robin Road from Brookhollow to Darr Road. Resident access will be available at the end of each work day. Traffic delays should be anticipated. This project is expected to be completed in July 2015. The City of Irving appreciates everyone’s patience during this water and wastewater line replacement project.
