****ROB NEEDS A HERO! HE IS AVERAGE RATED AND CAN BE ADOPTED DIRECTLY VIA THE PUBLIC SITE!!*** A volunteer writes: Rob sees me coming and looks up expectantly as he sees the leash in my hand. Yes, Rob, youre next! With a wag of his tail he steps out of his kennel and I can see how emaciated he is. We are feeding him an extra meal daily to help him gain some weight. His face is a stunning white, his body caramel and white, and it looks like he is wearing knee socks. I wrap a coat around his thin frame and out we go. He has a gorgeous, elegant step, a prance like a thoroughbred horse as he walks nicely on the leash, going as soon as we are out the door. Hes calm, gentle and easy, wagging his tail appropriately at other dogs we pass, sitting when I ask him to, and taking treats gently as hungry as he clearly is. Off leash in the back yard he has no interest in chasing a ball, hes simply happy to drape himself across my lap for some cuddles. And, I am very happy to oblige! Rob makes soft eye contact as I take some pictures, patient and easy as I take my time. If you are looking for a gentle, sweet and kind dog, one who has already been taught some manners, and is ready to cuddle by your side as you watch your favorite TV show, Rob is your boy. Handsome? check! Easy? check! Well behaved? check! Hes looking for his new BFF and he needs to find them by noon tomorrow!
