ROBBERY, CLAYFIELD: Two boys have been charged in relation to the assault and robbery of a man in Clayfield last night. Police will allege around 10.30pm, an 18-year-old Northgate man was walking towards a car park on Junction Road when he was approached by two 14-year-old boys from Strathpine and Bray Park. The boys spoke to the man briefly before allegedly assaulting him and fleeing east along Junction Road with his phone, watch and a necklace. The boys were located by police a short distance away at the intersection of Junction Road and Hockings Street. The 18-year-old was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a suspected broken nose and lacerations to his upper and lower body. The boys have been charged with robbery and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
