ROBIN WILLIAMS - Im so shocked by the news of Robins apparent suicide! I was an ABC publicist when Happy Days was on the air and Robin made a guest appearance. He was so witty and bounced off the walls. Network execs saw the superstar factor in him and he quickly got his own spin-off Mork & Mindy... Studio tapings were wild with Robin given free reign to improvise every other nano second. But when he wasnt onstage or on camera, he was a quiet guy. Once at a Beverly Hills party at Buddy Hackets mansion with lots of stars, I found Robin kickin back in the dining room by himself. We hung out together, just chillin... It was a rare moment when he didnt have to be funny or impress anyone and Ill never forget how down to earth he was. Rest in peace, Robin !
