ROBOTS & ANTROIDS BIG AND SMALL Over the years there have been many reports of small aerial objects flying around in the skys of planet earth. They are UFOs certainly, but these particular ones are generally described as balls, white or gray in colour, and about the size of a basketball. Too small it seems, to be piloted by any reasonable sized intelligent creature. Sometimes they are seen in the company of larger unknown objects like flying disks. Other times these small devices are spotted in ones, twos, or together in groups. They can hover silently, but are also highly maneuverable. They often suddenly just disappear straight up in the sky. There is another class of even smaller objects resembling large insects or small birds. Witnesses describe these as artificial in appearance and in their movement. There have been enough reports of these also, to suggest they be taken seriously. Recently with the success of the Mars rovers and their effectiveness in remotely exploring the landscape, NASA and other space exploration agencies have been ramping up the rhetoric about developing robots large and small to explore space. The much lower cost of robotic missions when compared to manned missions make robots the best choice for space exploration. There are even discussions about developing tiny nanobots, or self replicating mechanical robots that we send out to explore space on our behalf, multiplying as they go. I would extend the idea that nanobots designed for space travel will be more biological in nature. Biological engineering is just beginning to demonstrate its open ended potential. For example, very shortly humans will be growing machines, rather than building them. This will include things like our dwellings, and even customized creatures with special physiology, to do specific tasks. I have studied many, reports, theories, witness accounts, and whistle blower statements regarding UFOs, large and small. Aliens that are apparently hanging around earth are probably much farther advanced than we are technically, and in the sciences. So its fair to assume they have mastered biology too, when compared to Man. I recall that several close encounter witnesses and military insiders have stated that the UFOs they encountered were metal or mechanical looking, but that they also seemed alive. In addition it has also been stated that the alien pilot is somehow interfaced biologically with the craft. Hence, the incredible agility and precision of their maneuvers.(the ufo) Dr. Roger Lears research on alien implants removed from abductees, indicates some sort of mysterious marriage between living tissue and nano technology. Presumably, to maintain a complex information transfer. (Dr. Lear has removed identical tiny devices from a dozen or more individuals - google him) Just as mankind has evolved from the industrial revolution to the technological revolution, my opinion is that the next logical step will be the biological revolution. Just as the technological revolution built upon the industrial, the biological revolution will build upon the previous two. I suspect also, that very soon huge breakthroughs in science will occur, where micro electronics and the millions of connections on a silicon chip will interface seamlessly with living cells and into the nerve networks of living tissue. The matter of scale is really left to the designer. These creations will range from simple nano electromechanical-DNA mechanisms all the way up to massive structures and machines. One more thing. If there is something I have underestimated in my life, its how rapidly a concept supported by math, can move from development to engineering, and then to production and commercialization. Take LEDs, Lasers, and fiber optics, for example. Potential military applications move the process along even faster. So to summarise in the context of space exploration, it would be logical to assume that at least some of the small intelligently controlled UFOs, such as white balls, dragonbots, etc., are perhaps bio-mechanical devices. And using that model, just as some of the aliens seem to be designed for space travel, perhaps the way humans should explore space is with specially designed humans. In fact maybe not human at all, as defined by anthropology. Rather an equality intelligent being that can communicate with humans, but does not have the same life support requirements.
