ROK and the US to Hold their 3rd 2+2 Meeting The third Foreign and Defense Ministers’ (2+2) meeting between the Republic of Korea and the United States will take place in Washington DC on the afternoon of October 23. Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and Defense Minister Han Min-koo and their respective US counterparts -- Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel -- will attend the meeting. In their meeting, the Ministers and the Secretaries of the two countries will exchange views on North Korea’s nuclear and other issues; the ROK-US alliance and global cooperation; and the situation in Northeast Asia.
