RONALDO WINS BALLON DOR FOR SECOND YEAR RUNNING ---------------------------------------------- Real Madrid and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo won the FIFA Ballon dOr award for 2014 at a ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland. Ronaldo, who won the award for the second time in a row and third overall, was voted ahead of Argentina forward Lionel Messi and Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the annual poll. Cristiano Ronaldo said that he would like to play in the same team one day as the other two Ballon dOr nominees Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer. Argentine Messi played in the 2014 World Cup final where his side were beaten 1-0 by Germany, so this year he is aiming for South Americas top prize, the Copa America in Chile.
