ROTARACT Rotaract brings together people ages 18-30 in universities and communities worldwide to organize service activities, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Rotary clubs sponsor them, but Rotaract members manage and fund their clubs independently. Rotaract members work closely with their local Rotary club, and may join after their Rotaract membership ends. HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN ROTARACT? Rotaract Club of Naples Update Posted by Jim OLeary on Aug 7, 2014 The Rotaract Club of Naples was founded in 2011 and has grown rapidly with a total of 26 active members! Newly inducted President Chris Sargent, an engineer with Forge Engineering, has taken on this vital role with the plans to pioneer the Rotaract Club of Naples’ first International Service Project with the help of the officers, members, and fellow Rotarians. This has been a dream of the young club since its origin and with a great foundation set up by its predecessors, this project can finally become a reality. While planning this large project, efforts are continually being focused on local service events, guest speakers, and the ever- entertaining social events to attract new members and maintain a loyal following until we lose them to Rotary, at the ripe age of 30! However, our Rotaract family is about to get bigger! Measures are in place to increase the word about Rotaract throughout Southwest Florida with the establishment of the Rotaract Club of Estero/ South Fort Myers. Under the direction of Stephanie Smarge, the founder of the Rotaract Club of Naples, and current president Chris Sargent, they plan to spread the message of that this club can do for the community through projects, and for personal and professional growth. The efforts of the members this year will continue to enforce the importance of the club in the community and the impact Rotaract can make.
