ROUGH JUSTICE REUNION……….January 5th Nick B says: Played at the Kings Arms last night with Rough Justice, our first gig since Brown Trout in 1980! A beautiful crowd, so many dear friends turned up to dance and celebrate - inter-generational, and as much a reunion for audience as band. Lots of musicians from our past there too - great to see members of our contemporaries Bamboo and Wide Mouthed Frogs. Playing the old songs felt like slipping into a funky old shoe, Rick and Tony sang with finesse and soul, Rick even pulled out a couple of jokes(!), Mike, Stephen, Martin and Boyd played like the absolute monster gentlemen they are, and newest member Frankie Dasent on trombone was a soloist star. Napiers Cabana on Monday night and The Pines in Wgtn on Wednesday. Really looking forward to it and hope to see some of you there. Photo by Elsie Bollinger.
