RP for Katie Cole Please share... An unfortunate tale of events. We live in Oak Road and run our cleaning company Cole Cleaning from our home. Back in March this year we had two sets of ladders stolen from one of our vans (parked on our driveway) overnight. This was obviously very costly for us to replace them and meant that we couldnt carry out some jobs while waiting for the replacements. In August we had a gift bag stolen from our car, (while parked on our driveway), it was in the footwell of the passenger seat and was stolen in broad daylight while we were unloading the car having returned from a weekend camping. This was a present for my mother in law, so again cost us to replace it. Im afraid to say it has happened again this weekend just gone.....thankfully this time nothing was stolen (as we dont leave any valuables in there) But while parked on our driveway overnight our car had items from the glove box left on the passenger seat, the boot was left slightly open, the sun visers were flipped down and the integral light was switched off. Im not sure how someone has got into the car as it is always locked and locks automatically when left unattended. We now feel it necessary to install cameras to catch any future culprits. Neighbours please be aware. Dont leave ANYTHING in sight, day or night. And please if you see anyone peeking into cars etc, report it. We have of course reported all of these events. Thanks.
