7:10 a.m. blok wok and I feel all the better for it though still sweaty from this awful humidity. Typical Oklahoma. Its too bad we cant pre select where wed like to have been born. Id choose the northwest for sure. Choices. Walking through the hood this morning illustrates how tacky some people choose to live, neglected lawns with no edging or trimming, plastic bagged newspapers from yesterday and the day before glued to driveways, gawd awful plastic playhouses people seem to think kids love. Hey, Im guilty of letting the gold slip from my purse to purchase such toys r us atrocities. Kids never play with the play forts for long. Trust me on that. Id have done better to invest in great childrens lit for them. Stoopid, thy name is grandma. So I sit thinking of choices and relating them to marriages and divorces and family splits and the whole ball of wax entire and, well, thank whomever that at least we have choices. The catch is to make wise ones. The sky here is making its choice to tease us with spotty clouds clumping up like rain pushers when no precip is on the news. And so I labor on this Labor Day to make sense of another day. To all, love and good choices! On the national level, its getting damn critical.
