RRGDs SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES: Good submissions, directly to the timeline, are welcome on RRGD. But here are a few guidelines: • Postings: Images, text and information of high quality, historic railway and related interest or significant news are especially welcome. • Multiple Images: If you have multiple images, please do NOT submit them all at once – one or two per day per person is ideal. We especially appreciate regular contributors. • Please tell us about images submitted. While some photographs may be able to stand alone, most need at least some explanation – what, where, when, and why. • Explanatory Text: RRGD has become an international site, so please don’t assume the reader knows your country, area or its railways. Assume readers are generally interested but don’t know about the particular subject matter, so a brief explanation may add to all our enjoyment of whatever we see. • Scope: Exceptional photography and good text are especially welcome. Our goal is to make RRGD not just a website for pretty pictures, but also of interesting stories, solid research, and a good dollop of railway and industrial archaeology! Longer submissions may be made directly to RailroadGloryDays.net. • Copyright: Please do not post if copyright ownership is in question. If the image or writing is not yours, please at least credit the photographer, artist or writer. When the information used is old and no longer available, please at least credit the original source. And finally: • How to post: Post your text or caption direct into the box above (where it says Write something on Railroad Glory Days Page...), add a photo or illustration, then press Post. It will then be queued in the Recent Posts by Others list opposite. RRGD Admin will share it to our Timeline in due course, at the discretion of the editors. Thanks to all.
