RSOE EDIS Event Report - Power has been restored to east Auckland households and businesses affected by an outage this evening. Vector spokeswoman Sandy Hodge said crews had been on site at the St Johns zone substation and had restored power. More than 18,000 households and businesses in Orakei, St Heliers and Riddell Rd lost power at the height of the outage. The fault at the substation appeared to have been weather related, Vector said.
