RULES FOR STANDING. "Lean if you must But stand As long as you can." - AH. The center will not hold We are flung out In a helpless tangent Of widening circles Pulling apart the apparatus Of our unified movement Spokes twisted, torn As we descend into An unsalvaged, forgotten land Of dust and broken feathers Flight for us is over We are where we are, forever You say I speak with heaviness This steady drone that breaks The aura of transparentness What am I to do but speak What keeps me wakeful As you sleep in your wool Wolves not an adequate metaphor For what is at the door And we will eat their grain Or starve Rage at each mouthful And in the end, be chaff Nothing more, in their great New World Order.
