Racing a family tradition. Cameron has had many family members that have influenced his decision to race. His uncle Randy Saunders and cousin Travis both drove the #93 and his cousin Lil Dan Register Jr. drove the #19. Even though he never watched Randy or Lil Dan live in action he loves looking back at old pics/videos. Cam started going to the race track at the age of about 2 and has been at a track in the southeast every Saturday night since then. He truly loves the sport (karts, Late models or even Box Stocks * Daryl Larson). Our families have made many life long friendships over the decades from buying fuel from Wade Murphy Renee Crowther Murphy or racing against his brother Jimmy or Dickie Ferry. Now Cam is watching his heroes ( Brandon Cameron, Swede Melgaard, Mark Whitener, Bo Allen, Houdini Racing Michael James Smith, TJ Newton and many more. He is also making new childhood friendships that I know will turn into years of racing memories, just like our family members have experienced for the last 50+ years. If you havent had a chance to watch this little guy in action come out this weekend to The World 100 at Crossroads Motorplex, even though he belongs to me, I think you will agree that he is a good little wheelman, and who knows you might make friendship that will last forever.
