Racing weekend done. While our driving accumen was top notch, our mechanical issues still plagued us into Sunday. Thats racing. What we thought was a fuel pickup issue which we then decided was an ignition issue... may very well be a fuel issue. As the racing day wore on, the rabbit put on an elaborate show for us... pretending to be out of fuel and complaining of starvation... initially after about 90 minutes... then 60... then 45... the times we spent in the pits were murder on our overall times. Many people think winning an endurance race is all about being fast... but mostly its about simply being ON the track and out of the pits.
