Racism is thriving. And too often children are put in the middle, what a confusing place to be. They hear our anger and frustration. With big change comes political strife, as we are seeing in the countrys attempt to implement universal health care and protect the rights of people to spend their lives with the people that they love. The anger produced is s*#t and the best fertilizer to help hate groups grow. So, each day I embrace the good I see in people (some more than others, lol). I hope that I pass this on to some little people I see during classes. So, today, I will work harder to find the positive and the commonalities that we have. And given the current political nominees, it could be very hard....
