Radar is indicating that many of the storms throughout Missouri are mesocyclonic. That means they are rotating storms and its this type of storm that typically produces tornadoes. Now with that said the threat for a tornado remains low but cannot be ruled out. The main threat would be strong winds and hail if they become severe. If weather threatens your area always remember your best source of current information is your regional NWS office and local broadcast media outlets and a NOAA weather radio if you have one. -DYS
