Raid Boss Event Sneak Peak! Blood and Fury (Sept 4th-11th) Raid Bosses Events feature a super-strong enemy that appears randomly as you quest (PvE) through the Underworld. This Tournament’s extremely tough Raid Boss is the Gorgon Queen, an Earth Card, so be sure to bring your most powerful Wind Cards to fight her! There are two ways to earn rewards during this Raid Boss Event. First, a Point system is in place to provide end-of-event Ranking Rewards. Summoning, Participating, Killing Blow, and Most Damage on the Gorgon Queen will all provide different Points that count towards the Event Ranking. Gorgon Queen will be provided as the Ranking Reward. The points you will get are as follows… Easy Green: summon=30 kill =10 attack=3 Most Damage = 10 Normal Green: summon=30 kill =20 attack=10 Most Damage = 20 Easy Yellow: summon=30 kill =30 attack=15 Most Damage = 30 Normal Yellow: summon=30 kill =40 attack=20 Most Damage =40 Easy Purple: summon=30 kill =60 attack=30 Most Damage = 60 Normal Purple: summon=30 kill =80 attack=40 Most Damage = 80 You should also pay attention to this chart showing what your level is and whether you can obtain any points from fighting a boss that is below your level. Secondly, the Gorgon Queen’s appearance provides you a chance to fight and defeat her and stand a chance of dropping a Super Rare Ring shard (Synthesizing Band), if you do the most damage to her. Smaller rewards such as coins and FP will be given to others who participate. Players can only summon the types of boss that are within their level bracket (see chart below) and if you do the most damage to the bosses within your bracket or in any bracket above your level, you stand a very high chance of dropping a Synthesizing Band shard. No shards will be dropped if you kill bosses below your level bracket. *** An Advantage item, ‘Fury’s Helm, is available during this Event which will give a damage multiplier to the unit it is equipped to and it also gives a Tournament point multiplier. This event will run for 1 week from September 4th to September 11th *** Gorgon Queen – Leader Board Ranking reward (This card will be given as a reward to Leader Board Ranking Players) -- Devourer of Cities- The Gorgon Queen is one of many ancient deities from the times of antiquity. Using her ring of power, the Sythnesizing band, she can drain the life force from others and absorb it directly into herself. She has consumed entire cities. Survivors have described the trails of blood and entrails being sucked straight from victim’s mouths to her massive, outstretched arm overhead. The destruction and slaughter wrought by the Gorgon Queen eventually caught the attention of the furies. She was too powerful to be destroyed easily, so they created the Fury’s Helm which would give its bearer the power to destroy the Gorgon Queen. Once killed, she was sentenced to hell where she began her descent past the gate. She has finally reached the realm of Infernum. The Gorgon Queen is now wreaking havoc in the planes of hell. The hell invaders must once again assemble their disciples to bring down this threat to the balance of power that exists in hell. With the help of the Fury’s Helm, they may just have what it takes. *** Fury’s Helm – Advantage card (This card provides special advantages during this event) This helm imbues the wearer with the indomitable rage of the Furies, granting any hell invader which chooses to equip it the power needed to destroy the Gorgon Queen. *** Synthesizing Band – Drop Chance (Shards of this item can drop from the Gorgon Queen) *** Rules and Fury’s Helm advantage Outside of Infernum, this Helm’s phenomenal powers are not to be underestimated, but even greater powers will flow through its attacks when pitted against the Gorgon Queen during this special event. Equipping the Fury’s Helm to a disciple will give the disciple a 4x damage multiplier this week’s Raid Boss Tournament. The Tournament Point multiplier is +30% if you have Fury’s Helm equipped to a disciple in your Combat Deck. Any friend’s disciples brought to battle with Fury’s Helm equipped will not give you any point bonus but they will still have the 4x damage multiplier. Fury’s Helm should be equipped to a Wind element disciple for best results this week. *** Ranking and Rewards For the next week you can battle against the Gorgon Queen in the Raid Boss area. She can be won by Ranking Rewards. Gorgon Queen will not return for at least 3 months. Event Summon For this week’s Raid Boss Tournament, we will have the “Box” style event summon. Each player has a box containing 100 equipment shards. The box will contain the 10 shards needed to create the Fury’s Helm and also 90 other R3 type shards. You can either summon 1 shard for 50g, or you can summon 10 shards at once for 500g. Shards will be pulled AT RANDOM from your box from the pool of 100 shards. !!WARNING!! Once you have created the Fury’s Helm, make very sure you are equipping it to the correct disciple as equipment CANNOT be removed.
