Rain fell heavily on the little cabin. The drops seemed to say its time to wake up and live. My eyes told me to ignore those callings. But I obeyed the rain and rose. Stepping towards the window I again saw the quiet fire from the forest and wondered at its beauty. My wife lay there still sleeping peacefully as the assault on the roof continued. I losses her shoulder and told her good morning but she was still fast asleep. I heard the woodpecker resuming its modification to the tree outside of our bungalow, he seemed to be intent on building a home for himself.
