Rain has stopped and the street and sidewalks are clear. Even the water on the back yard has subsided somewhat. Basement is now down to roughly around 7 of not-terribly-clean water. I have a pump running but Im estimating theres about 4,000 gallons of water down there. Story problem: If my portable sump pump can move a maximum of 1,400 gallons per hour, how long will it be until I finally freak out?
