Raj has also been talking of greater autonomy for Maharashtra and of the growing irrelevance of national parties in state politics. Experts say this could well be the meeting ground for Sena-MNS in the post-poll era. Many in the Sena-MNS think the Thackeray duo can continue to be political adversaries, while agreeing to keep national parties out of Maharashtra. They cite the DMK-AIADMK experiment in Tamil Nadu in support of their contention.
