Rajput spiritual head issues diktat in favour of Bajwa Pathankot, April 20: The Jodhpur based spiritual head of the Rajput community Sri Sri 1008 Dr. Swami Shivswaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj today issued directive to the community to vote for the Congress candidate from the Gurdaspur Parliamentary seat, Mr. Partap Singh Bajwa. He further said that Rajputs were neglected by every political party and no representation was given to any local Rajput leader for so long. Earlier before calling upon the community to vote for Mr. Bajwa which has about two lakh votes in this Parliamentary constituency, he led a shobha yatra in the town in which the community members participated in large numbers. The Sobha Yatra got a massive response in the Pathankot Town. People from every section of society took the blessing of spiritual Guru and assured him of following his diktat. The community members pledged total support to Mr. Bajwa respecting the call given by their Dharam Guru. On this occasion S. Partap Singh Bajwa and Smt. Charanjit Kaur Bajwa and the spiritual Guru and took his blessing. Those present on the occasion included Capt. Vikram Singh, Kunwar Ajai Singh, Thakur Satbir, Thakur Ram Rattan Singh, Chaudhary Rajbir Singh, Mr. Chamel Singh, Kunwar Santokh Singh, Thakur Naresh Singh, Mr. Ranbir Singh Bitta, Thakur Bhanu Partap Singh, Thakur Vikram Singh, Thakur Sahib Singh Saba, Thakur Balbir Singh and Thakur Narottam Singh Saba.
