Ramadhan Recuperation #2: Jannah. Do you work for Jannah? Working for Jannah should be the last thing youre doing. WAIT... What? Steps to Attain Jannah: 1. WANTING IT 2. ASKING FOR IT 3. ACTING TOWARDS IT Yes, thats right. The FIRST thing you should be doing is WANTING Jannah. So the question now should be, how badly do you want it? Believe it or not, sometimes wanting Jannah is more than enough: 1. The Prophet Muhammad (saw) was once telling a Sahabah that a group of elite people will enter Jannah on the Day of Resurrection without any form of accountability or punishment. A man by the name of Ukaasha (ra) immediately responded to his statement and said, O Messenger of Allah, make duaa that I am one of them. Our beloved Messenger then said You are among them. Immediately after this, another sahabah jumped at the chance to benefit from this as well, asking the Prophet (saw) to make duaa for him as well. The Prophets response? Ukaasha beat ya to it! From this, we can see that wanting it is clearly important. 2. There is a beautiful hadith where the Prophet (saw) states that whoever asks Allah for Jannah three times, not only does Allah answer the duaa, but our Rasoul also states that Jannah speaks and makes duaa: Ya Allah, grant this person Jannah Duaa: اللهم ادخلني جنة الفردوس - Allahumma adkhilni jannahtil firdowse 3. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said that EVERYONE will enter Jannah except for those who refuse. Refuse? Jannah?! Yup! A sahabah asked Nabi Muhammad, Ya RasoulAllah, how can someone refuse Jannah?. He said by obeying him and following his Sunnah, you are on the path to Jannah, and by disobeying and neglecting the Sunnah you are refusing the path to Jannah.
