Ramanuj Gupta Memorial Charitable Trust, as a fitting tribute to the departed soul of eminent teacher of Mathematics Late Krishna Tarat who inspired hundreds of youngsters to develop love for the subject and explore their hidden potentials, has organized the 2nd mathematical talent search contest ‘QUEST-M’ on 7th September 2014 (Sunday) at Ramanuj Gupta Junior College, Silchar. About 250 Students from various institutions across the valley participated in the contest. This year the contest is held in two levels. Level -I (comprising of students of Class IX and Class X) and Level -II (Comprising of students of Class XI and Class XII). The top 3 position holders form each level will receive handsome cash award from Ramanuj Gupta Memorial Charitable Trust as follows. First Position (Level -I) = Rs.5000/- Second Position (Level-I) = Rs. 3000/- Third Position (Level -I) = Rs. 2000/- First Position (Level -II) = Rs.6000/- Second Position (Level-I) = Rs. 4000/- Third Position (Level -I) = Rs. 3000/- Each candidate securing 80% and above will be awarded with certificate of merit. Prizes will be distributed on 14th November 2014 on the occasion of 17th Foundation Day Celebration of Ramanuj Gupta Junior College.
