Ramayana-132 (The Golden Stag): Rama could not refuse the repeated request of Sita to catch the Golden Stag despite of the warning raised by Lakshmana that it could be a Rakashasa changed its form to a stag. Rama told Lakshman that if it is a Rakshasa also nothing wrong in kill it or catch it alive..If it cheat us ,then nothing wrong in doing so. So he asked Lakshman to guard Sita and set out to catch the stag. Before going he wanrned Lakshmana that anything could be happened and be highly vigilant and protect Sita. Lakshman reluctantly obeyed him as he thought that it was a foolish idea of Sita and Rama agreed to catch the stag,Mareecha maintained hide and seek while Rama approached to give Ravana enough time to reach the spot and execute his plan.In this process of running and chasing the stag Rama tired and lost his patience .He aimed an arrow at the Stag and it pierced the sag. Mareech aresumed his natural form and simulating Ramas voice called out Ah Sita....Ah Lakshmana.....and fell dead. Lakshmana was rightsaid Rama said to himself. This deer was indeed a Rakshasa.. He thought that hearing this loud cry Sita will be decieved and frightened..but again thought anyway Lakshmana is there and nothing to worry. But he was not knowing what was happening in the ashrama...
