Rambling Thoughts of GUARDIANS in no particular order... I am Groot. I am Groot. I AM GROOT! Also... Spoiler... HOWARD THE DUCK!!! But would it have killed them to say, Gem? Just once...? Star-Lord may be my new favorite character. The conversation about Footloose totally re-colored my thoughts of the film and what the actor was doing up until that point. (And I can stare at Gamora all day.) Marvel needs to work on their villain writing. Seems that only Loki is afforded a personality. Everyone else is destruction for destruction sake. (See: DARK WORLD, HULK.) THANOS! Teared up at a few spots. Felt the emotion was genuine, earnest without being forced. There was a whole prison break sequence! Not expected that at all. Glad to see Marvel trying something new. Also, we got a bad ass, honest to goodness space opera!
