Rampant criminality in the Metro, rampant rice smuggling, brown outs, water shortage, worst airport in the world, dilapidated NAIA terminal,traffic chaos, higher cost of living, highest unemployment rate, biggest corruption scandal In the nations history, THE WORLDs most expensive utility rates MERALCO,MAYNILAD, double standard of justice where only the opposition are accused and jailed, long lines at the MRT, UNPRECEDENTED corruption, most cabinet and Usec officials are involved in scandals, shame campaign by BIR, government spending billions of pesos for political programs while millions of citizens live below the poverty line - destitute citizens eating other peoples garbage (known as PAGPAG) for their meals PAGIBIG mess being used to further vilify the opposition while one of the main characters in the PDAF scandal, Ronald Lim hasnt been mentioned by the forever posturing DOJ Secretary nor any updates on the search. Government contracts cornered by a select few, media controlled by the current dispensation turning these into propaganda machines churning half-truths to cover up and divert attention away from the ills of government. Riding in tandem criminals everywhere Corruption in all levels of government. Where one is unable to roam even the posh malls without looking over ones shoulders. Where one is told - anywhere you go, whether in the lobbies of plush hotels or restaurants, never leave your belongings unattended or risk it being snatched A REACTIVE instead of proactive government run by amateurs labeled STUDENT COUNCIL Good intentions are not enough to save this country - you all know about the aphorism The road to hell is paved with good intentions I live in the US but still care for my country and THATs why I speak out. Nothing personal, some of my friends are on the opposite side of the political persuasion but that doesnt diminish our friendship. Its all about Juan de la Cruz.
