Ran a rope throwing and river safety course for staff at the Glasgow Science Centre today. Went well, stayed dry, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We now have the majority of late or all night establishments on the Clyde from Carmyle to Braehead keeping extra lifesaving equipment on their premises and having staff trained. The idea is not to make staff into lifeguards but to show/advise them on how they could react in an emergency without endangering their own life.
