Rand Water invites students/undergraduates from rural areas and previously disadvantaged communities who are interested in joining the water industry to apply for our 2014 Bursary Scheme in the fields listed below. Rand water is one o the largest water utilities in Africa. It provides bulk potable water of superior quality to 12 million people in the economic heartland of South Africa. Since its inception in 1903, Rand Water has built the proud history of never failing o supply a continually growing community. Johannesburg is one of few large cities not built near a sustainable river or damn, hence innovative solutions had to be engineered over the years to meet the challenge.
