Random thought: Looks like there is a major push to get young folks to learn programming on a mass scale. The draw is that it pays well, and there are opportunities to change the world. Just take note, as masses learn and go into programming and the supply of trained people increase, pay will potentially decrease and jobs may get harder to find. Make sure to learn to enjoy programming and take creative moments to innovate, so in case you dont get the dream job being promised to you, you have a cadre of projects to make into that world changing enterprise they are promising everyone.
