Randomly for those of you who live around Sutterville Elementary, right before school pick my son was in the garage, by the start of the drive way and a nicely dressed young man comes up to him and asks to speak with his mom or dad, so, I come out and he introduces himself quickly and says hes from Ferguson, but moved here and if I knew what happened there, yes I say and gives me a story that hed now moved here with his 3 kids ages 1,2 and 3 hes got a job and asks to come in the house to sit down as long as I dont have big dogs, weird but you all know me and I have to massive dogs and a yipper as I told him so he could sit on the motorcycle in the driveway. He then goes on to say hes 32 and arent I proud he has a job to support his kids so he wants me to buy magazines from him and tells me my neighbor sent him here. So I look at his page of typed magazines and ask the price and he says they all differ but my neighbor ordered 3, so I told him I needed to know the price and of course he wanted to know how many kids I have, but I tell him we are on a tight budget. So he says he normally sells in packages of 3 but he would do me a favor and let me choose 2, I pick out 2 for kids, cheerleading and a baseball one. He adds the prices and says that it will be $178.00 for the 1 year subscription and I wouldnt receive the first magazine for 3-6 months. I told him that was to much for me right now but feel free to come back when my hubby is home, when the big black truck is in the driveway, he says no, even though I say my hubby will be back in a few minutes. He then says he would make an exception for me and let me order 1 magazine and I still say no I got to wait. He then starts to get frustrated and wants me to realize he makes 50% commission and I still say no he would have to wait for my hubby and talk to him, where at that point he is getting upset and says he needs the money I need to atleast make a donation to him even if I dont want a magazine and says to atleast give him $20 or $30 dollars. I told him I really dont have that much cash on me and we I have been out in the driveway for a bit so my second oldest son is peeking through the door to see what is going on, but I go inside and literally only had $5 and I shouldnt have but gave it to him, and my oldest was home after baseball weight training and after the brief telling him of why this guy was here was ready to make sure this guy left and he didnt want me to give him anything but I did. Anyways this was very strange so beware everyone who lives around here, this gentleman wants money and definitely gave me an uneasy feeling at the end. So maybe yall dont even answer the door if you dont know who it is. :)
