I keep getting disappointed in our species. I had it in mind that once water was found off the planet their would be this big rush to space. For years I thought this because of shows I watched and articles I read. The hindrance to life in space was lack of water, without water we can not live and getting it out of the gravity well is too expensive. Then we found water on Mars. Then the moon. Then in the outer reaches of the system in comets. Then the moons of the other planets. Each time I expected that that was it. We found water! Lets go! Each time the world has failed to rise and run to space. Each time I get a little more sad at my fellow upright apes.
