Randy and I took off this afternoon and took our ride out to Redrock, then to get those awesome hoagies, stopped at Rickets Glen, just had a nice ride. If we stay home, all we do is work. So we are coming back over Dutch Mountain and I was thinking as we passed the Forkston Rocks how much I miss those carefree days. Then all the land is bought up by people from other states, every old road we used to jeep on or camp at is owned by some land association, and they will shoot to kill!! Got home and decided to take the dogs on a run with the quad. I always used to be able to run them down the RR tracks, now that is a walking trail so I went the other way. Short run, but nice. Then took a chance and zipped down part of the way to the walking trail, used to be owned by Wes Anderson, Frank Andersons Dad and Mom. Now some other people own it, there were logs across so you couldnt drive a quad down there anymore. Its just sad. Everyone has their land locked up, God forbid someone might walk on their soil. It would be so great if neighbors were neighbors instead of strangers and all that stuff!! Guess I will have to go and meet the new neighbors and see if I can drive over their pile of logs!
