***Rant Alert*** Theres a fundamental flaw in most of humanity. We tend to give value not only to objects but to people as well. This manner of thinking divides us all and keeps us in a perpetual state of conflict. For many a Palestinian child is worth less than a Jewish child, a black/brown kid is worth less than a Caucasian kid, a destitute child is worth less than a rich affluent child. This classism and racism is a world wide problem. I dont know if its in our DNA to think this way or if its acculturation or indoctrination, what I do know is that it resides in a place of fear inside us all. Teach your children that we are all the same, that in our uniqueness we also share similarities. We all love, suffer, cry, laugh and wish for a peaceful fulfilling life. Bob Marley said it best One Love. Teach it to the children and in a few generations this attitude will shift drastically, we have created problems and we can create solutions, with love and understanding humanity will see a new dawn.
