Rant ahead*** This past weekend, a few people looked at me funny for not laughing at a rape joke. With the University of Virginia and Bill Cosby things going on right now, theres no room for jokes about rape. It is one of the reasons women take years to come out and finally tell someone what has happened. We, as Americans, have made it such a damn joke. Its absolutely disgusting. My dad and I were listening to someone this morning asking who is standing up against these acts? Whos the big wig female, or male for that matter, thats trying to #breaktheinternet by defending this issue? I cant think of one person. But Ill get to hear all about the music awards from last night. Please realize what youre giving your attention too. I hate to get mad and upset about this, and Im going to sound Air Forcey, but what we really need is a culture change. Hopefully this makes someone think. Ill move on with my day now.
