Rant of the day : why cant we fine schools when they stick a Teachers Training day onto the half-term holiday like they fine us now for taking kids out of school in term time? And since when did a Strike day go down as Unauthorised absence on the CHILDS part?!!!! Well Im sorry but having had 2 daughters growing up taking 2 weeks holiday in term-time every year and it did not make the slightest jot to their education! Theyve both never been out of work so therefore I will continue to take grand-children out as well!! The Government should FORCE the greedy holiday companies to lower the prices in school holidays! Rant over!! Florida here we come!!! ✈
