Rapid City Police say a suspect arrested after a robbery early Friday morning at the Corner Pantry store on N. Lacrosse St. has admitted to a pair of recent robberies. Police responded to a robbery call at the Corner Pantry shortly before 2am Friday and stopped a man running from the store carrying items from inside the store. Police say 33-year old John Galligo of Rapid City threatened the clerk by implying that he had a weapon. Police say Galligo admitted to the robbery, and also admitted to the January 17th robbery of the Common Cents store on Jackson Boulevard. Police say Galligo did not get any money in either robbery. Galligo was charged with two counts of 2nd degree robbery, possession of a controlled substance and several active warrants.
