Rave Reviews keep coming in about our hotel! Check this one from Stevens Point. Not exactly your usual seasonal tourist mecca with sub-zero temps on the south shore of Lake Superior, Who wouldve thought this would turn out as one of the best mid-winter mini-vacations we have taken. We knew that 88% of the Great Lakes were covered in ice. We came to see the Red Cliff Ice Caves that appear infrequently and were featured in the local news. Friends had visited earlier and gave enthusiastic reviews of the Ice Caves and the Hotel Chequamegon. Neither were exaggerated. One can read about the Ice Cliffs on-line. The hotel deserves special recognition. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet, well staffed with people who care and take pride in their service and are eager to please. Kudos to the chef and manager.
