Raven Baseball recap of last nights game vs Cibola. Rio Grande 6 Cibola 4 Ravens outlasted Cibola on Thursday after six lead changes, squeaking out a 6-4 win at Rio Grande. Ravens took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. A steal of home by Othon Delacruz gave Ravens the lead for good. Ravens held off Cibola, as Cibola was unable to overcome a three-run sixth inning deficit. Cibola scored one run in the seventh on an error. Still, Cibola couldnt draw even. Ravens was led by Logan Wolfels hitting. Logan went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and fifth innings. Othon got the win for Ravens. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Othon struck out 10, walked three and gave up five hits. Siedermen was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out five. Cibola jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Cibola attack began with a single from Sedillo. A passed ball then moved Sedillo from second to third. Ravens scored two runs of its own in the first. Ravens scored on an RBI single by Logan and an RBI single by Martin Gallegos.
