Raw video of the Tony Stewart accident. Do NOT watch if you are easily disturbed, it shows a man, Kevin Ward, getting hit by a Sprint car which results in his death. Here is my take on the accident, having experience with these cars and how they operate. Tony accelerated, because you HAVE to accelerate to steer in these cars. He turned the front wheels to the right, and the rear tires slid to the LEFT. A lot of people are under the misconception that the rear tires slid to the right and he was trying to hit the idiot. This is not true. It was Ward who was having road rage. Tony had NO reason for road rage, since he was in his car and had nothing happen to him, other than the idiot Ward running towards his car. He tried to miss the guy, and he didnt. Ward would have been hit anyway, even if he didnt try to swerve out of the way. Then people would blame Tony for not doing anything, so he is damned if he does, damned if he doesnt. He was trying to avoid the guy though. So tired of reading uninformed people that are trying to blame Tony for this unfortunate accident. It was Wards fault for getting out of his car and trying to confront Tony on the track. That is not the place to do it.
