Re: Microsoft Windows XP Support and Updates ending 8th April 2014. Well, I have just had a conversation with the lovely people at Smart Computers in Keynsham 0117 986 1000 (who I thoroughly recommend by the way) who say that despite a warning message from Microsoft saying support and updates for Windows XP is being stopped on 8th April my computer (provided I have adequate Internet Protection against Viruses, enough RAM and functioning Dual Core processor) will continue to run perfectly well and I DO NOT NEED TO UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 8.1 AT A COST OF £100 PLUS!! Smart Computers have done themselves out of a sale but I deff recommend them for any Computer Support and Service you may need!
