Read Genesis 4:1-7. The next film in our summer series is Disneys Dumbo, which is about a young elephant who learns to use his oversized ears to fly. In the Bible, God calls people with unique gifts to do Gods work. In todays reading, Abel and Cain have different gifts—one a shepherd, the other a farmer. When God looks favorably on Abels sacrifice, Cain becomes angry and resentful. When have you become angry or resentful when someone else has received a blessing?
