Read The Peach Keeper and liked it. Cant wait to hear what you thought. Ive also just finished (this morning) Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. Fabulous book but had heart wrenching events like Sarahs Key and Sandcastle Girls. Id read reviews that the Oprah book club edition had comments that detracted from the book so I got the original version. I highly recommend it. Didnt realize until the authors comments at the end that soooo many of the characters were real and that many of the events really did happen. The Charleston house still stands today. Hope to see all of you at the next meeting.
