“Read and Grow Rich” (Part 1) Mr.Burke Hedges wrote this book. This man was once at the verge of committing suicide .At that time his sister-in-law gave him the book “The Greatest Salesman” written by Pastor and great motivational writer Dr.O.G.Mandinos (This book is of about 160 pages .If one start reading it they won’t put it down till they complete it).Burke Hedges read it and was a totally transformed man. He became one of the millionaires in US and also wrote several books. One of them is this “Read and Grow rich” .In the beginning of this book he wrote about the book “The greatest Salesman” and at the end he mentions a list of books, that should be read. The first book he has mentioned is the Bible. So to become rich in heaven we need to read books beginning with “The book, the Bible”. If one wants to cultivate the habit of reading that makes one rich one has to take the guidance of their spiritual mentors. If you don’t have a mentor, go to your pastor or ask God to give you a mentor. Life is short so you can’t read all the books or you cannot waste the precious time you have by reading whatever book you come across. Don’t make an attempt to read any book without first knowing what God’s will is for you as it is revealed in the Bible. So you must start reading the books that help you to understand the Bible as it is to be understood. Before you read the books of any of the modern authors first read the books of those authors who are committed to teach the word. It is always good to start with booklets before you start books. There you begin with “Living Christian lives”, then read “Authentic Christian Life” and then start reading Knowing God through the Bible and other books in that series.(To be continued)
