Read this if you want to- if you can. This defines my insanity- the original insanity- the want to know. THE QUESTIONING OF WHO WE ARE!!! The presumed notion that there is an assumed state of normalcy is laden with the need of a bar to set standards by. We shall always need someone to point to and say that is normal. It is then necesary to define normal on an individual scale. Each person must choose what to set their bar to. The fact that life itself cannot be defined lends to the fact that we just make up everything as we go. Every single fact that we state as true is feleable becuse it relies on the presumption that differing perceptions must agree on the truths that are acceptable. We agree that water is wet. Yet no one knows how the term wet feels to another. We assume that we observe identical phenomona yet we will never even be able to prove that we are little more than solopsists. We presume that others are present in our lives yet we will never be able to prove anything. So what is reality? Who deams whats real? From what vantage do we witness an occurance that is common within all of us? Who is the actor and who is the witness? The fact is that we will never know truth. We will never find proof. We go about our lives naive to the very source of it. Religious minded folk speak of the universal truth in the universal being of their undertanding- God. I find God to be a comforting idea. It is as valid as the idea that dogs have four legs. We will never be able to prove that dogs even have legs because we simply assume that what we see is truth. Dogs might not even exist. God might not even exist. Yet God is the only truth that I hold evident. Because we assume every sinigle thing that we experience as valid and truthful there must be some validity and truth within eveything. A common existence must be shared if we are to be anything more than solopsists and yet a belief in God leads to the ultimate form of solipsism the form that states there is one being in the universe. We are either alone or we are all existant. Some may scoff at the idea that an intelligence shaped our world. They point to the scientific understanding of life. Yet we hang this science on the accepted fact that we were born to somenone who was born. Who was the original being born? Who was the first to question and why did that question arise? The diversity of life depends on multitudes of possibility. And yet the very possibility of life depends on set limits that cannot stray for if they strayed life would end. We act as if we control our destiny when we are really just blowing in the cosmic wind. We don’t detemine who we befriend. We don’t determine who we create. We don’t determine anything. Every single thing that happens on this earth is a reaction to an original action. And if you are able to presume that you are not the wisest of men and that even the wisest of men is not as wise as he could be you are able to understand that there is an immense amount, an undeterminiate amount of knowledge that exists. And who are we to say that that knowledge does not exist? People associate God with hell. They have been conditioned to fear Satan as a means to fear God. Yet why fear the dog’s bite if you don’t have a dog? We can experience hell on this earth. It is described as a lake of fire. We have lava on earth. And you are perfectly free to dive into that lake and suffer the consequences. Yet, why even go near a lava pit. People asociate Satan with human treachery. Yet treachery is an inherant part of possibility. The earth is a realm of possibility. Therefore there is treachery on eath. The very nature of what I see as God is that He affords us possibility. Therefore religion need not be a vehicle to avoid possible outcomes it is rather necesary to afford possible solutions and facets of a life of positivity. Why live in fear when you could live in hope? The very nature of the entirely possible points to a spectrum of beings. There must be the most perfect of beings and the most imperfect of beings. Just as there must be the tallest of beings and the smallest of beings. Why invite the smallest of beings to be on your basketball team when you could invite the tallest of beings? Thus life must be lived looking up. We must hope for the best. The very nature of evil points to the existence of sickness and confusion. Why hinder another when you could help another? Because something is inherantly wrong with he who harms. He who we accept as normal and healthy surrounds himself with love and conversely offers his love to those who’ll accept it. It is the nature of possibility that their are negative outliers- the sick, the lost, the confused. These are the people who need help. We must avoid their negative impact and steer them towards health and prosperity. This, I imagine, was the original purpose of religion- to spiritualy guide lost and sick people towards peace and prosperity. It is scientificaly accepted that genetic mutation accounts for species variations through time. Africans living in Africa have darker skin pigments to account for the brighter, longer sun than do lighter Asians and Europeans who live in colder areas of the globe with less sun. The more species blend the more these genes mix accounting for more disease resistant beings. Science accounts for the variables yet it lacks the intagibles. The world is a safe and yet deadly place. Through our history we have constantly made it a safer more livable place. The very notion of inteligence relies on the fact that it was bred through inteligence. Just as there was an original being, there was an original thought. Yet what could create intelligience? Intelligence. The theory of the big bang assumes that everything was once one thing. From that one thing grew many. This suggests that although thought arose from one thought. It also precludes that at some point there will be a reversal of our outward motion to a time when their will be no thought and all matter will again be one thing. This is founded in the thought that at the edges of space stars are slowing. Over an immense period of time matter will stop its outward motion and reverse through gravity collapsing in on itself arriving at the opposite of the big bang- the big crush. The very possibility of an ever oscillating universe gives rise to the possibility that thought could have survived the last big crush and given rise to the birth of our first thoughts in this existence. This pushes back the inception of our current consciousness an endless and perhaps ageless amount of time. Scientific law states that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Thus on a spiritual note consciousness can neither be created nor destroyed. Spelled out further- God can neither be created nor destroyed. Everything always was. Life as we know it is a refined and perfected art. Through trial and error we have created immensely impossibe things. Yet the one thing that is so immensely impossible that scientific theory turns into science fiction is the creation of life. We have we not even been able to create the simplest of bacteria. How thus in an age where we have flown and sent information through electricity do we have the courage to state that life could not have been created? If life is so impossible that we cannot even create the simplest forms of it, how are we to say that the most complex life forms in the universe arose without any intelligence behind the creation? Once again inteligence breeds intelligence. The very sensory percieving organs in our body were created before we could use them to react to what is happening. Learned intelligence goes so far yet it had to be learned in the begining and passed down as innate inteligence through genetics. This innate inteligence is unacounted for in history because it was created before we were inteligent. In a world in which we believe that no matter was created we are stymied by the thought that no consciousness was created. Such a thought leads to the thought that we were never created. Could we always have been in some form, in some realm? How if God was forever conscious could he have had unconciousness? Is there such a thing as unconciousness? If so how could we ever know? When at rest our brains dream. When we don’t dream who is to say that at some level we are not conscious? The deeper we delve into the realm of curiosity the more we encounter the fact that at this time our minds are unable to comprehend the most basic and the most complex facets of existence.
