Reader types- I need help with a story. The base plot involves a young poor woman trying desperately to win the love of the young rich man she idolizes. She is aided by an older woman who is helping the younger in order to ruin the man, because if he falls for her, his social status is kaput. The older woman may or may not not be very much older, but she is quite powerful socially or money-wise. Why does she hate the young man?
