One riddle was a box divided into 16 smaller boxes with numbers 1-16 inclusive. Arrange them so the sum of each 4 rows and each 4 columns and the diagonals was the same. In the book this question was posed to a 13 year old. I would love to be able to solve such. I am impressed by people who can. There were other problems too and while I only have that dim picture it delights me that for some people they are clear and obvious
